



Kevin, like many other little boys, has always wanted to be a magician. Today he is living that childhood dream to its fullest. He is not only an accomplished performer, he is an in-demand speaker as well. He is the leading expert on the therapeutic use of magic in physical and psychosocial rehabilitation and education. He is the co-founder of Healing of Magic and the founder of the Hocus Focus Project for Special Education. He is keenly aware of the importance of creating new synergies between the arts and the communities in which they serve.
Cindy is the first woman to be recognized for her contributions to the art of magic by the International Brotherhood of Magicians receiving her own cover on the oldest magic magazine in the world, The Linking Ring. Her talents extend beyond her stage performance. As the co-founder of Healing of Magic, she knows the importance of transformational experiences and the impact the arts can have on the quality of people's lives.
Author of a number of books on the techniques and history of magic, including the Los Angeles Times bestseller, Hiding the Elephant, Jim Steinmeyer is the head writer for Theatre of Illusion as well as the illusion designer. He served as magic designer for Doug Henning, inventing impossibilities for four Henning television specials, six touring shows, and two Henning Broadway shows; for Merlin Jim received his first Drama Desk nomination. On Broadway, Jim designs illusions for a number of shows, including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Disney and Cameron Mackintonsh’s Mary Poppins.
The artistic director and consultant is Joanie Spina. Joanie was trained in theatre and her style reflects her interests in magic, dance, music, and drama. As the principal performer, choreographer and artistic consultant to David Copperfield for 11 years, Joanie redressed the ancient art of magic with a flair of the caliber of Broadway productions. Critics worldwide note that the results of her collaborations have raised the stature of the art of magic to new heights in the eyes of the public and ensured the viability of the art form into the 21st century.
Andre Kole is another major creator of the Spencers illusion impossibilities. His contributions to the art of illusion are so numerous that he has been recognized as the Magic Inventor of the Decade by the International Magicians Society and received the highest honor from the Academy of Magical Arts in Hollywood, CA. He has created original illusions for some of the most successful magicians of the last 30 years including Doug Henning and David Copperfield. Kole is, himself, an accomplished illusionist with performances in more than 79 countries of the world.
